الشرح

The Relief

أَلَمْنَشْرَحْلَكَصَدْرَكَ

Did We not widen your bosom?

وَوَضَعْنَاعَنكَوِزْرَكَ

And relieve you of the burden –

ٱلَّذِىٓأَنقَضَظَهْرَكَ

Which had broken your back?

وَرَفَعْنَالَكَذِكْرَكَ

And We have exalted your remembrance for you.

فَإِنَّمَعَٱلْعُسْرِيُسْرًا

So indeed with hardship is ease.

إِنَّمَعَٱلْعُسْرِيُسْرًۭا

Indeed with hardship is ease.

فَإِذَافَرَغْتَفَٱنصَبْ

So when you finish the prayer, strive in supplication.

وَإِلَىٰرَبِّكَفَٱرْغَب

And incline towards your Lord.
